The social structure in Sweden has five factors that describe how the classes work. These include:
- Sweden is generally perceived as having three social classes
- Occupational status based on your educational attainment
- Education and amount and source of income all differ significantly among the three social groups
- The ability to change jobs or get one is largely restricted to the top two groups
- Swedes in all social groups desire to increase economic and social equality
